Suzanne Caliph

Suzanne is a Monash University pharmacy alumni and a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed BPharm, M.Pharm.Sci and PhD (Lymphatic drug delivery research) all at Monash. She also completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education after joining the Monash Pharmacy faculty. She is the academic lead for the Graduate-entry pathway BPharm (Hon)/MPharm (2019 -). She is the unit lead for a Comprehensive care unit (Dermatology, Pain Wound) and final year Pharmacy capstone units in Drug delivery, Integrated Therapeutics and Context for Practice.  She served as the Graduate entry summer school coordinator (2014-2018) and BPharm Deputy Course director (2009 - 2012). Suzanne is a practising pharmacist serving a community of cultural diversity and new arrivals. She is also a current secretary of the Western Pacific Pharmaceutical Forum, a non-government organisation for advancing pharmacy practice to improve health in the region. Suzanne’s sustained excellence in teaching and education innovation was acknowledged through a national award - Australian awards for University Teaching (2013), Monash University’s Teaching innovation and impact award (2016); Vice Chancellor’s citation for outstanding contribution to student learning (2012) and Faculty Teaching Citation awards (2012, 2018). Suzanne’s research interests include empathy research and technology-assisted education and healthcare.
